<![CDATA[I had my roof painted in Feb, I was pressured in paying the deposit the same day or else I loose my "discount". He is accompanied by his 2 sons who has no clue what they doing, they had to redo my roof before i had to transfer the balance. Now I'm sitting in a situation where I'm begging for my 120months guarantee as stated on the reverse of the contract "On completion and full payment of the whole contract and all outstanding extra invoices, the customer receives a 120 month guarantee on work completed as set out on contract". I have ask Wouter numerous times and now even have my attorney phoning this fraud and he continues to make empty promises as to deliver this guarantee..... PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL YOU FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! ALSO NOTE THAT HIS SON IS ALSO DOING SAME WORK UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME... You WILL NEVER be satisfied with the job..... TRUST ME!!!!!<hr>]]>

      <title>Heatwave - Repairs/Service - Making the best of a difficult situation!!</title>

<![CDATA[We purchased a stove-type fireplace from Heatwave but it appears that the particular unit we selected had a factory fault because the glass front broke the second time we made a fire in it.  I must admit that after spending so much money, I was not a happy to say the least!!  However, Lionel handled a difficult situation quite calmly and professionally.<br> <br> Heatwave offered to loan us a unit until new stock of the unit we selected arrived (which would have effectively involved them doing two installations at  their expense) or the option we took was to replace the unit with a bigger (more expensive) unit.  We're now very happy with our new fireplace.<br> <br> Well done guys, excellent customer service!!<hr>]]>

      <title>Olympic Blinds - Breach of Contract - NON DELIVERY OF GOODS ON SPECIFIED DATE</title>

<![CDATA[I AM APPALLED AT THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM OLYMPIC BLINDS IN MAITLAND, CAPE TOWN. I ORDERED MY BLINDS ON 12 MAY 2012 WITH THE ASSURANCE THAT THE BLINDS WOULD BE READY FOR COLLECTION ON THE MORNING OF THE 18 MAY 2012. WHEN I ARRIVED TO COLLECT IT I WAS TOLD IT MUST COME FROM THE DEPOT IN MONTAGUE GARDENS AND THEY OPTED TO DELIVER IT TO MY PLACE OF WORK BY 4 PM THAT DAY. NO COMMUNICATION OR DELIVERY WAS MADE ON THE 18TH OR 19TH OF MAY AND WHEN I ARRIVED TO QUERY THE MATTER THE MONDAY 21 MAY, I WAS TOLD THAT 2 OF THE BLINDS HAD NOT BEEN MADE YET, BUT ASSURED THAT THEY WOULD INSTALL ALL THE BLINDS FREE OF CHARGE ON THE 23 MAY 2012.<br> TODAY (23 MAY) I WAS TOLD THAT ONLY 1 BLIND IS COMPLETEED AND ANOTHER IS CLOSE TO COMPLETION AND THE BEST THEY CAN DO IS TO GIVE ME 4 TEMPORARY BLINDS UNTIL THEY FINISH MY BLINDS IN THE COLOURS ORDERED.<br> THIS IS BY FAR NOT THE TYPE OF SERVICE I WOULD EXPECT FROM A LONGSTANDING COMPANY. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY TERRY MARTIN KEEPS CHANGING HIS VERSION OF THE READINESS OF MY BLINDS.<hr>]]>

      <title>Burrows Pools - Repairs / Servicing - Poor Service</title>

<![CDATA[The company relined my pool with Fibreglass, and I have been battling to get them to fix a bubble.<br> Andy installed shell 3/2009. Had problem with inlet valve which fixed. 12/09 (but that cost me money as the water had to be drained out of the pool with no compensation from them.<br> Then advised fibreglass loose under coping did not come to investigate. Then followed this up advising bubble at deep end above water mark end 2010.<br> After many attempts to get him out his worker visited me first week July 2011. I send email 7/7/11 to Andy about this visit wanting to know when it will be fixed. On 30/11/11 I send another email after not hearing from him. The bubble are now about 1m2 and the surrounding fibreglass loos about 3to4m2.<br> Till this day he has not contacted me.<br> Since then I have great difficulty to make contact with him, has left many messages at his office and his cell phone but still nothing.<br> The company advertises in the Homemakers fair who I have also send an email for them to assist me but also no response<br> <hr>]]>

      <title>Cover Frameless Glass - Breach of Contract - 40 days late and installation not complete</title>

<![CDATA[At first, I waited 40 days for delivery of the glass door. When it finally came, it was 10cm to wide for the opening that the company measured themselves (twice). They then took the door back and changed it to return a week later. After the glass was installed, they realized that the cutout for the lock was too small and left again, leaving me with a half installed door. The brackets were skew, the glass was chipped and didn't line up properly. <br> The managing director, Werner Jv Rensburg simply does not answer any emails concerning the faulty installation. <hr>]]>

      <title>@homeliving - Damaged Goods - The Worst Service</title>

<![CDATA[We bought a couch and a dining room table during February. The furniture was delivered and installed; everything seemed fine until we discovered that a leg had not be attached to the corner side of the couch. The Sandton store was visited and details submitted. I expected to be contacted on the Monday first thing. No call. The Clearwater store was visited where the sales consultant was informed and he said he would organize for someone to come and instal the leg. No call, no one sent. The clw store was visited again where the manager was informed and the details for the relevant person at the distribution centre was requested. I sent an email and and called the contact - she informed me that I can go and collect the leg from Design Quarter. Out of my way. Nonetheless, I went to collect the leg and they had to dismantle the couch on the showroom floor to give me that leg. I went home and there seems to be an attachment missing so the leg cannot be connected to the couch properly. This is pathetic. Talk about talking your money and not caring about the customer. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!<hr>]]>

      <title>Deco Con - Bad product and workmanship - Bad product and workmanship</title>

<![CDATA[Avoid using DECO CON  at all costs . The products they use are of a very poor quality . They stain terribly, scratch easily  and when it rains the concrete becomes as slippery as ice . Very dangerous. They are also extremely untidy and have no respect for their clients property , leaving their waste in garden beds , grass etc. Dont be fooled by DECO CON adds and website , or the smooth talking owner Gareth de Lange.<hr>]]>
