My mother went to the Boksburg store to purchase Sing Star. Not knowing anything about gaming, she asked the floor staff to assist. They said that they don't have it in stock and proceeded to give her the replacement microphones for sing star. She obviously didn't keep the original receipt as she thought that since they work in the gaming department they would know what they're talking about. She gave this "replacement" microphones to me for my birthday, as I don't have sing star the microphones doesn't work. I desperately tried to explain to the technical staff what happened, they told me that I needed the original invoice and they can't do anything to help me except give me a gift voucher - I DON'T WANT A GIFT VOUCHER SINCE IC DOES NOT STOCK THE ORIGINAL MICROPHONES! Greenstone branch told me that I could go to the branch where it was purchased and get a copy of the receipt and they will refund me in full, cash. So which branch can't do their job? This has been such an untastefull experience that I'm not willing to wait 4 months for new microphones!! The entire situation was caused by an unexperienced, untrained staff member. Can anything be done to assist me?? |
