Incredible Connection delivered a flyer to our house advertising a Blackberry package on contract + Playbook + R500 gift card. Phoning on opening morning of the special offer to check stock, I was informed that the description is "a mistake" and that the Playbook is not included in the deal. I queried this with head office and was told that this was the case, and that Incredible Connection are not prepared to honour their advertisment. I was offered an additional R1000 on the gift card instead. This is the second time this has happened to me. In December 2011 an xBox bundle special offer was also "not available" when we went in-store to buy it. Only when we showed the branch manager the advertisment on his own webpage was the stock :discovered" in the store room! A malicious form of advertising and a cheap trick to get potential customers into your stores! |
