I bought a Sony VAIO laptop on the 14th of January 2012. On Saturday the laptop was operating fine. On Sunday the computer was giving me problems to boot. I took the laptop back on Monday the 30th of January 2012 for assistance. I am told that tp back up my DATA on the laptop and re-install the software they will charge me R400. I am failing to understand how this is possible since the laptop comes with the softwares readily installed. It is really not my fault if their software is faulty. I just need to know who between SONY and Incredible should be held liable for faulty or sub-standars software. I have only been in possession of that laptop for 16 days and used it for 14 days. |

Hello Lemmeck, Unfortunately software is excluded from all manaufacturer's warranty, irrespective of the supplier or the retailer.
