So my kindle broke on Saturday 28 January 2012, I took the Kindle into Strubens Valley Incredible Connection where they said they would swap it out but unfortunately they don't have stock I should try Northgate. I head off to Northgate who inform sorry they cannot swap it out as they have to have a technician from Circuit City take a look at it and only then can they swap it out if there is an issue, so I wait on Monday I get a phone call saying that it will need to go to Circuit City for investigation, I phone today 2 February 2012 to find out how the progress is going, only to find out that it will take 14 working days to receive my Kindle all because the Circuit City technician is on leave and it's with them at the moment. Can anyone tell me how in 2012 there can still be policies like this? Firstly the kindle broke through no fault of my own, secondly they don't seem to follow the CPA with regards to returns, now I am left out in the cold due to these outdated policies and procedures. I will never shop at an Incredible Connection again, I should've gone through Takealot for my Kindle. |
