I took a Sony Vaio Netbook in to the above branch for repair with the warranty period. After having been in contact with both Sony SA as well as Rectron who does the service and repairs on Sony equipment obo Incredible Connection. The unit was taken in on the 20th January 2012 at 13:00. Not having heard anything from them on the 06th February 2012 I decided to phone them and find out their progress on the netbook. I spoke to a lady by the name of Robin, at aproximately 14:00, who told me that the unit had just been received back this afternoon and that the hard drive had to have been replaced. On enquiry as to cost I was told that they were not sure, - would find out and let me know during the course of the afternoon. I gave Robin both my cellphone and landline numbers. When Robin had not yet returned my call by 16:30 I tried phoning them again but could not get through to them as all lines were busy. I then phoned Rectron directly who told me that the unit was received by them on 24 January 2012 and that it was returned to Incredible Connection Cavendish on the 27th January 2012. I am happy to accept an apology but I take great offense to being lied to by Incredible Connection. |
