I'm nearing the end of my 2yr contract with iBurst and thought I would leave a comment of my experience. In early 2010, iBurst changed its product pricing. Initially I feared the worst, thinking that either (i)services would be taken away, or (ii) I would have to pay more. I must say, iBurst really came through! Not only am I paying the same amount until my contract ends, but the services I receive have increased over time! This proves to me that iBurst honours its contracts. The 1 Mbps down-speed is nice :) During the day speeds are usually a bit slower, but not bad. The softcap is a bit disappointing (see below). I am on a 2GBs pm package. What's nice is that they give a FREE 2GBs every month on the 15th :) Any part of the 4GBs not used is co to the next month. I currently have a value-added-service (VAS) which allows for (i)free, full-speed downloads between Midnight and 08.00 everyday (torrents usually slower), and (ii)a softcap. Softcap allows me to browse internet after my GBs are up, but only at 64kbps (very slow), but is better than nothing. Overall: Service = reasonable and Price = good. Thank you iBurst. May our relationship extent beyond my contract term. |
