Bandwidth Limit Reached

Used to have uncapped ADSL up until a month ago, so now I check my bandwidth status pretty much everyday so that it lasts for the month because I need 24hr access for my forex trading.

Checked my status yesterday, which showed 261mb available which was plenty to last till the end of the month. However, I had no access when I woke up this morning....Bandwidth Limit Reach...WT?!

Contacted the helpdesk, who confirmed that I had reached my limit. They also mentioned that they were experiencing an issue with account summaries not updating properly. My response to this was obvious. Had the summary been reporting proper bandwidth usage I would have changed my surfing in order to preserve bandwidth to last till the end of the month.

Acknowledging that it was their "fault", I was given extra bandwidth at no cost to continue accessing my trading and surfing.

One thing I would suggest, is that a notification email goes out to all customers of such issues so that they're aware their bandwidth summary could be incorrect and that they can adjust their surfing habits until such time as the issue is resolved.
