| I live in Hartbeespoort where it is difficult to get a good internet connection. So an iburst contractor(Calshi Technologies)came and tested the signal here and said it was excellent. He installed an antennae and provided me with details for an iburst consultant to set up my account. He was late in sending me an email and I had to travel overseas without sorting out an account. In January when I returned I spoke to another account person, Lungile Mzizi, who then tried to sell me a desktop modem instead of the one I wanted because they were out of stock. We agreed that I'd take the desktop modem temporarily until the 2MB modem's became available. My huband collected the device from Bryanston - NOT PROVIDING ANY DOCUMENTATION. I then received an sms saying hardware to be delivered 18th Jan - not a ref num or tel num attached. The delivery arrived on 19th Jan and they required a proof of address and copy of ID. I thought this strange, and when I questioned the delivery guy, he left with the hardware. I have not heard from iburst since (19th Jan) and Lunglie is not replying to my emails. This is only the tip of th iceberg. I am so frustrated at the level of competence. | |||
