I did an online purchase on the 3rd January. On the 6th I queried when the goods would be delivered and was told they had not received my scanned ID and card I did the purchase with. I decided to go to a store at Six Fountains. The lady assisting me Sarah also tried to scan and send my ID and card and failed. Reece Bruton suggested I cancel the sale and purchase the items in store and he would credit my card for this failed purchase. I made the purchase and almost doubled the original purchase. The staff in the store were brilliant and delivered the next day complete and almost R500 less on delivery charge. Monday 9th there was still no refund and on the 10th I queried via email and was told I must check with my bankers. My bank said they could do nothing without the proof of the reversal or credit passed or even a credit note. I reported this back to Reece Bruton and said this is a matter for HelloPeter. He has never responded since. Today I called the complaints department and spoke to Charmaine Terblanche who responded like Reece did "I have contacted Reece and he advised me that the money has been transferred. Please to check with your bank is what he said." I want my cash |

| Utterly Disgusted: I received an email saying the matter is sorted and guess what with the exception of the complaints department, Charmaine Terblanche, nobody bothered calling. This does not seem to be an area of concern for House & Home. Reece advised that the matter is sorted out and I still do not have the money paid into my account. I cannot believe people still keep their jobs after this kind of mess and negative exposure on a company. After 13 days and still unresolved or unpaid. This is a sad day. | |||
