| I Purchased a Sony Bravia 40 inch Full HD Led television from House&Home on 23/12/2011. The tv worked up until 30/01/2012. The screen just went blank and it started flashing an error message code on the red standby annunciator. The tv has not worked since and will not switch on. I spent nearly R7000.00 on the tv and House&Home have said it needs to be sent for repairs at Sony which will take nearly 3 weeks. I asked for a new replacement unit which they said they will not supply. So basically i have spent R7000.00 on a TV which is only 1 month old and needs repair. I still have the original box and all the purchase slips. | |||

Hello schlorker, Please be advised that we have to allow the Supplier the opportunity to inspect the unit, to see what has caused the fault. Should it be reported that there is a factory fault, the unit will be exchanged, but should the unit be able to be repaired this will be done.
