House and Home shocking service

We bought a Whirlpool dishwasher on 10 Jan from House & Home at Lifestyle Crossing. After installing it &using it just once,we realised that the soap block wasn't dissolving properly in the dispenser & called Whirlpool to send a technician out to see what the problem was.The technician told us that Whirlpool dishwashers don't actually work as well with tablets in the dispenser & that if we weren't prepared to use the powder detergent,then we should just "throw" the dishwashing block into the bottom of the dishwasher & it should dissolve properly then. We were a bit surprised but tried it & sure enough it dissolved but our dishes weren't cleaned properly.After contacting House & Home to complain asking for a refund,they came back saying that we had to call a technician out 3 times & then if still not happy, then Whirlpool would refund us. After doing this,& giving the product a fair chance,with no improvement in the dishwasher's performance & complaining about it, I am still waiting for both companies to honour their promise!! Both companies are happy to take my money but neither is accountable. The service of both parties is unacceptable & disgraceful.This dishwasher's 3 weeks old!
