We placed an order for 2 x bookshelves as well as a chest of drawers, we paid for them on the spot after the sales lady assured us that there were enough stock of the shelves and 5 in stock of the chest of drawers. They told us that the delivery would happen between 10 - 12 working days. We received a call on Friday the 13th assuring us that we were scheduled for delivery on Tuesday the 17th, which was exactly 12 day from date of purchase. The store phoned us on the Tuesday, and told us the drivers were on the way. When we got home, we found that only the shelves were delivered and not the chest of drawers, the driver said that we will receive delivery of it during the week. The next afternoon at past 4 Manana phoned us to let us know that the stock was damaged, and that they could not deliver it, but that they do have one in the stock room for us to have a look at. We went there today and the cupboard they have in the store-room was the one on display in the store when we bought it, and needless to say it is in a horrible state. We had the opportunity of choosing another cupboard but was told we had to wait another 12 days for delivery. It is unacceptable!!! |
