As I am very fond of the brand Guess, my presents I receive from my husband and family normally has something to do with Guess goodies. Perfume, watches, bags, jeans, shirts, sunglasses, you name it ! I've been wearing a Guess watch for over two years, and it still looks brand new etc. But unfortunately I cant say the same for the bracelet I received for Christmas 2011. I don't even wear it that often. Maybe a Saturday night when going out. And it's not even been TWO MONTHS yet, and it looks like I picked up this piece of jewellery in the gutter. The gold looks so fake - that's what left of the gold - it's getting really ugly. I received a pair of Guess earings on my anniversary the 3rd of Feb, besides being delighted in receiving yet another Guess goodie, my first thought was " O no, is this also gonna look like **** in a week's time?" So I am very disappointed in my bracelet, and trying to contact customer service on their website it a nightmare. What's happening to Guess, must I change my brand? |

Hello Nicolette Mc, Dear Nicolette, I apologise for this experience. We do not want you to change brands, and would like to assist where possible. It doesn't sound like you have taken your product back to the store you purchased it from, to have it assessed as a manufacturing fault. This needs to be the first thing you do, if the store is not aware of any problem they wont be able to assist. Please take it back to the store you purchased it from, along with your proof of purchase. The store manager will show the supplier and request a new one or a credit. If it is approved the manager will contact you to come get a new one or a credit. This process takes a few days. It is required by the consumer protection act that a proof of purchase is supplied, this is an important part of the process. if you do not have a slip, a bank statement will suffice. If you have any further questions please mail me cjardim@busbyhouse.com. Kind regards, Carlos Jardim |
