I bought a few items from Guess at Gateway Shopping Centre on 24 December. Due to all the public holidays and being on vacation myself, I only managed to go to Guess Kids Sandton City today. I wanted to exchange the very same item for a size 4 - 5 years instead of 3 - 4 years as it does not fit. I have the original slip, the tags are still on, the item hasn't been used. I was told by the assistant that they can only exchange it for me in 10 working days. Please can we consider the fact that the 25th, 26th and 27th of December was public holiday's and again on 1 & 2 January 2012, we had more public holidays. Let alone the fact that most of us was on vacation. I asked to speak to the manager of the store and spoke to Hlanjiwe, who then informed me that the said item is now on sale, so she can't help me, but I can get an exchange from Eastgate Shopping Centre. Why must I be shunt half across town for a simple transaction. I merely wanted to exchange the item for a bigger size. Hlanjiwe, was so rude and abrupt that I want a full refund for the item as she would not even allow me to exchange the item for something else of the same value.
