I bought a 35 day train pass - just in time for the busses to go on strike again. I live in Pretoria - Work in Melrose. I travel daily on the train to Rosebank and then with the bus to Melrose. Now the bus drivers strike - and neither the bus company Mega Express or the operator Bombela is not doing anything to remedy their non-delivery. I can't get to work - AFTER I SPENT MY MONEY BUYING A MONTH TICKET!!! I cannot afford to buy a train ticket and then be forced to drive - while my ticket lapses! I want the period of any ticket bought to be extended for as long as the strike OR I want them to implement a temporary bus service on all routes - WITH NONE OF THE EXISTING DRIVERS!!! |
