The Gautrain bus drivers are striking again, this time around an entire week of bus service disruptions. Over the months, I've come to rely on the Gautrain for my daily commuting between home and work at JHB CBD. The temporary route between Rosebank and JHB has forced most commuters to use the Gautrain Bus shuttles. I would like to know who is going to compensate me for the trips I am losing on my month ticket, due to the fact that I have to drive to work. I could care less for the reasons behind the strike, in my opinion the drivers should be fired for their illegal industrial action, laziness and incompetence. As a paying customer all I expect in return is to be provided with facilities, I've paid for. Gautrain shouldn't let their customer's get involved with their internal petty politics. This is unacceptable service, Gautrain or MegaExpress should compensate me for the trips I am losing on my ticket. Without the shuttle service the Gautrain is essentially useless for me. Get your act together!!! |
