Disgusting results from Game

I took out a cell phone contract with Game Pavilion on the 30/01/2012. I was told about the connection fee of R202 and my subcription fee of R135 a month. I was asked to pay in R105 for the sim connection which I agreed to pay. I then got a sms on the 4/02/2012 to say that R105.71 has been debited out of my account from Vodacom. I contacted Vodacom and they said that it was the sim connection fee that had come off. I explained to them that I had paid that amount at Game on the 30/01/2012. What is annoying is that Vodacom have said that there is no record of me ever paying that amount to Game, I now have to take my proof of payment and send it to Vodacom to prove that I have paid it at the game stores. When I phoned game stores today they were not able to assist me and said that Vodacom were in the wrong when game clearly are. I am very upset about this whole episode asI have got other payments that have to be made and now I am short of cash which means I am going to be inconvenienced the following month again as I am going to have a negative bank balance. I just feel lack of customer service and steeling customer money is games top piority to them.

Hello JoySeaton,

With further reference to the above matter we wish to advise that were not charged twice. You were charged R97.00 connection fee plus pro rata subscription for January which comes to R105.71.

Store Manager did send you a mail explaining the process.

We look forward having you in the store again soon.
