We've been loyal GameWinnersCard client's of Game, Cresta for over 10 years & buy almost all we need only from them & never had anything to complain about. Unfortunately one person can change attitudes quickly.
We purchased 2x Panasonic Lumix Digital cameras for my daughters at a cost of R4500 in July 2006. My girls are post graduates, thus responsible adults. Both cameras' power-on function refused repeatedly and occurred x3 within the year of guarantee. Each time it was sent in it took months to be returned. Same problem occurred shortly after the guarantee period. We took both back to Game & gave them the sales slips. We requested they send them back to Panasonic to inform them that we were not interested in having them fixed but merely confirm repeat of the same problem and replace them both with new models. Two +months went by before we were phoned to collect the same cameras and we have to pay R500 for repairs. The manager insisted with no interest or apathy, that we must accept it, as they were not under guarantee & not interested in considering the merits of expensive cameras with the same problem reoccurring from the start. Should we accept it?
