| HEADLINE | No feedback - ********** account opened in my name |
||
| I was contacted on 16 January by Furniture city regarding my account (which I did not open) with them and the outstanding amount of R48000. I went to the woodlands branch on 17 January. Irene assisted me. I was informed that my Id number and name was used to open and account with them for an amount for R50000+. There were no paperwork for this deal. All the employer, next of kin, telno and address used, were false. I filled in paper work to declare this is a ********** matter, signed affidavit at police station and emailed all the required documents to Irene at the branch. She would send it to investigator at African Bank who handles the closing of the account in question and write the money off. My credit record at Experian shown I am behind in payments for this ********** account. This has a direct impact on my credit record. I am in the process applying for a home loan. This will definitely affect my application. I need this matter resolved ASAP please. I send emails requesting feedback but no response. | |||
