In October 2011 i took my pioneer amplifier to be repaired to the branch where it was purchased. I purchased the Home entertainment system in 2008 with an EXTENDED warranty. The amplifier could not be repaired as there is no spares available. I was then told that I need to fill in an insurance claim form. The claim was approved. The manager Emanual was on leace and could only work on this when he got back. In January i was told that they can not get me stock. I was then called to collect my amplifier. when i went to collect it, it was an amplifier that was used on display. I did not want to except it. I logged a complaint on the 19 December 2011 then on the 30 January 2012. I called head office on a numerous occasions. I sent an email to Marie Steyn on the 16 January and 30 January 2012. Till the 01/02/2012 i have still not recieved a response from Furniture City. Is that how you value customers? Why offer EXTENDED WARRANTY? Till today i have not recieved an response from anybody at Furniture City. |

Utterly Disgusted:
Today is the 13/02/2012 I am still without an amplifier. I have been told that some one is trying to source an amplifier for me. I went to the branch at South Gate Value Centre the sales men told me that there is two at a Strubens Valley. The way I see it is that Furniture City is not serious about business and keeping there customers happy. Do i put another complaint would that help? |
