All around SHOCKING experience

I bought goods which included a couch.I confirmed delivery date twice and still they delivered half the goods a week before the confirmed date, we had not moved house yet so SOMEONE ELSE had signed for the delivery of the stock I AM PAYING FOR.Delivery for couch was due sat.Could hardly get hold of anyone in management on sat afternoon,we were told the couch would be delivered by 7PM,by 3PM the store was closed so we could not speak to anyone.Today I'v been phoning and phoning with alot of help from my friendly sales person calling head office, only to find out that there is NO STOCK of my couch and they wanted to SEND ME THE USED ONE ON DISPLAY!!Head office has also NOT YET PLACED AN ORDER for this couch,gave me NO indication as to when I can receive it.They also REFUSE to give me discount on the used couch on their floor in the shop.No one informed me about stock of the couch until I phoned them demanding to speak to their manager,which I also could not get through to.I am very shocked at the service levels of a big company such as Ellerine Holding.Is my business is not of importance as they just brush it aside.?Whats the use of CPA when these things still happen?Worst service!

Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience caused.

Your complaint has been forwarded through to the Business Unit to be addressed.

We have in the meantime received feedback from the manager that the item purchased was a test line and therefore there was no stock. The manager has advised that you have taken the couch from the floor together with a gift voucher.
