Poor service and a bad attitude form Ford...

I drive a new Ford Figo 2011 1.4 TDCI Ambiente.It has 20276km on the clock. My son was driving in Pretoria across from Hatfield Ford when they turned into one of the streets and saw that it was covered with water. The vehicle cut out after that. I phoned the AA on Monday and was told Ford said that I cannot claim and that this is not their problem. I phoned the Ford head office and they told me the same thing: "It's not their problem and will not fix it under their warranty claim". In the end I claimed from my insurance an amount of R66268.09. I spoke to Tiaan on the 26/10/2011 and was promised that they will order the parts immediately. By the 28/10/2011 nothing had even been done to my vehicle.On the 31/10/2011 Evette phoned me and promised that the vehicle will be ready by Friday, but then I got a call on Thursday telling me that the engine they ordered was faulty and a new one had to be ordered again.If anybody can please help me with the following questions:May I not drive the vehicle if it is raining because of the fear that water will get into the engine again?I also asked Ford who had designed such an engine? I just need answers please.
