| My car got fuel contamination while driving down from Durban to Cape Town. My car eventually broke down in Kings William's Town and was towed to the Eastern Cape Motors and they told me it was contaminated fuel and two of my injectors were damaged. I received a quote for R14 000 to replace 4 injectors and clean out the engine. I was told that they cannot order just one or two injectors and that you have to order 4 as a set and to sent the injectors to be fixed would cost just as much. A week later they told me they made a mistake with the quote and the estimated price to replace the injectors is now R36 500. Just a few days ago I went to Consolidated Auto in Boksburg and they told me you can definitely order just one or two injectors and fixing the injectors rather than replacing them would be a lot cheaper. Now the 4 injectors has already been ordered. I really didn't expect this from a Ford garage, seems like they only try and make money out of you and actually helping you as a customer is the last thing on their mind. | |||
