I took my car for a 100 000km service at the Oudtshoorn dealership in the beginning of the year. They advised me that my timing belt needed to be replaced as part of the 100 000km service and that I needed new break disks. Today I took my car for its 120 000km service at an independent (AA accredited) in Cape Town. They advised me that the timing belt only needed to be replaced at 160 000km. This was confirmed by a Bosch Service centre. My brakes have been screaming very badly since the previous service. Today I also learned it was because of the bad work or lack of work done by the Ford Dealership. |
