Last year, I booked 2 weeks at the following resorts, La Montagne and Chakas Rock. In order to make the bookings, I needed 13529 and 13055 points respectively. I have now checked this years reservations booklet, and in order to make the same bookings for the same weeks this year, I need 16595 and 18117 points respectively. That is an increase of 23% and 39% in the points required!!! My points have increased this year, to (so call) allow for this, but they have only been increased by 9%. Effectively, this means that I cannot have the same holiday this year as I had last year. When I bought the points, I was told that this was so that I would be guaranteed endless vacations. In fact, that is the name of the marketing company i bought them from. I spoke to the call centre, to a lady named Megan (she refused to divulge her surname) Although she was sympathetic, she said that Flexi club don't have any control over the number of points required, and it is given to them by the rersorts. She further advised that I write to the board of trustees, asking for an explanation. I have done this, but have had no reply. I would really appreciate feedback on this problem |
