My friends and I have a stokfel account [74314705789]opened at The Glen branhc in January 2011. On the 14 Jan 2012 we went to change the signatories on the account. I was made chairperson and told that since I have an account with FNB, the stokfel account will be linked to my profile so I can be able to see the movements(who has paid, who hasnt)etc on our account. Today is the 09 Feb 2012 and the account still has not been linked. I called the branch yesterday and after making me wait on the phone for 15mins I was told that our documents cannot be located but they will look for them and give me a call before end of business day, yesterday. I never received that call, it is almost close of business today and I still havent received that call. We have our stokfel meeting on Saturday and I will not be able to provide members with the financial status of the account as I cant access the account. FNB is supposed to be encouraging people to save but behaviour like this will just drive people away |

| Not Impressed: The guy who handled our account didnt know what he was doing so now we have to go into the branch to do something we were told had been done already. I would suggest FNB provide training to its staff members on handling Stokvel/Club accounts because it seems like very few people if any know how to handle queries relating to these accounts. | |||
