Taking no responsibility whatsoever

After lodging the previous complaint I was immediately contacted by Aamira who offered me a good rate and an okay commission fee for FNB. I appreciated the fast response and agreed to the rates. When we spoke she said: "The total amount will be this and that", and I doubted that, thought it was most likely too low, but couldn't calculate because my calculator is in my phone. So she deducted the commission and transferred the wrong amount into my account (R723,09 too low). Afterwards I called Forex, and later the normal FNB number, with my reference number for the complaint. Was on the phone for half an hour and again promised several times that she or someone would get back to me. Nothing. Later left a message with all the details via online banking and eventually Nicole Pillay contacted me (via email). She tried to dismiss my claim quickly, eventually by saying that I misunderstood Aamira. I am sure that I double checked the rate when I spoke to Aamira and that Nicole will have heard that when she listened to the call. If not I would NOT have accepted the rate. Eventually I'm worse off. If I'd known this I would never have accepted the rate, and would have had the money sent back!

Utterly Disgusted: I don't think FNB even took me seriously... If I can find a better bank in SA FNB, you'll immediately lose me as a customer. And if not you can just be sure that I'll never have money from overseas transferred into my account via you and let you ***** so much of it... I was a happy customer, and you just lost someone that did a lot of free advertising for you...
