Be careful when moving or opening your account with FNB. I opened a First National Bank account on the 11 July 2011 and I was informed that I could earn eBucks - but when I looked at my statement I was billed R57.00 per month for 7 years - they say this is dormancy fees. I queried this for about a month - via email - and not getting anywhere I went into FNB and spoke to a consultant - who phone the eBucks office and they informed her that I was earning eBucks on my MTN account in 2004 - which I had no knowledge of - they also informed her that they are no longer partners with MTN and therefore I have not been earning eBucks since 2004,. Now that I have a FNB account - they have deducted 7 years of dormancy fees - and they say they can do nothing about it. This is unfair and I feel like I have been robbed. I personally think that they should only be deducting - if necessary from the time that I opened my FNB account. |
