Unfair charges on account

I must say that I'm disgusted by the manner in which fnb conduct business. It appears to me it is all about making money out of the client. My account was overdrawn with approximately R3500 and it was of great concern to me, hence I took it upon myself to phone FNB. I spoke to Sipho and requested him to keep my debit orders until Saturday since funds will then get paid into my account. He agreed and said however by 11 'o' clock if no funds reflect, they will have to return which I agreed to. However on Friday after speaking to the people that will grant me the loan to cover my overdrawn account, I found out that the money will only reflect on Monday. I immediately phone fnb and spoke to Koleka and explain to her my situation. I mentioned to her that an amount of R5000 will be deposited. She promised to come back to me if there are any problems. Needless to say 5 of my debit order got returned and I got penalise R105-R130 each per debit order which amounts to R550. Obviously highly upset since I made all the necessary arrangements for money to be paid in my account, furthermore I was in continues dialogue with your staff with regards to the account being settled. Thank you for your posting and I apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this must have caused.

I have lodged this as a formal complaint under reference 132567 and escalated it through to Branch banking to investigate.
