I opened a cheque account at FNB in December and decided to also apply for the Ipad deal. I was told by a consultant at the Menlyn branch that the only requirements were that I had a balance of R5500 in the account. I ordered the device over the phone and was told to expect delivery within 10 - 15 working days. The delivery date came and went after which I decided to phone FNB to find out what was going on. I was told that the application was denied because my account was new and that my salary had to be paid into the account and that my debit orders had to go through them. When I opened the account I filled out both the salary switch and the debit order switch forms. It has been a month since I opened the account and my HR department still has not received the salary switch details. I had supply the details myself. Can someone please tell me what the terms are for ordering the Ipad and will the deal still be available to apply for once when the terms are met? Why was I not told but allowed to place an order? |

| Over the Moon: I was quite impressed by the quick response and resolution of my problem. I only wanted to get some answers by submitting this complaint but my Ipad order is now approved and I'm awaiting delivery. Thanks FNB! | |||
