Did not change my debit order date

On the 7th of Jan 2012, I went to the Century City FNB branch to change the debit order date of my Morgage.
The reason for this is that I had started a new job that bases its months on working hours and not calendar dates - therefore, I will sometimes get paid on the 20th of a month - other months I might get paid on the 30th.

I realised that for Jan, I would be paid on the 26th or 27th, and will therefore not have enough funds in my account on the 25th (the date of the debit order and monthly payday at my previous employer) for the Morgage.

I spoke with Kandasamy, who helped me change the debit order date to the 28th. I was given a form to sign (I still have it) indicating the change in debit order dates.

Yet, the change was not implemented - this morning I received the SMS that the debit order went through and that my account now reflects a negative balance! I checked online and the next debit order is set for the 25th of Feb, so clearly someone did not make the change.

Please someone - resolove this!

Over the Moon: Gholibah from FNB Century City phoned me on the Friday morning. Having spoken to the home loans department, she confirmed that a mistake was made resulting in them not changing the debit order date, however, that has been rectified and the date changed.
Gholibah was extremely professional, friendly and efficient  - thank you!
