I ordered + paid for some electronics from expansys on bidorbuy on 30 May 2011. I received an email from them staing that is is ready for pickup on 27 September 2011. Their adverts state verbatim: "Normally ships in 10 to 15 working days." My item arrived 120, yes, one hundred and twenty days later! When I read through the negative feedback they have received from other buyers, it seems they fail to acknowledge guilt on their side, but rather shift blame to the buyer or supplier., My guess is they will blame me for not asking them where my items are! They seem to think themselves the blameless middlemen who just make money by reselling products. If there is a problem, it is not theirs, but the supplier's or the client's. I am really glad this happened before I started purchasing more expensive products from them! |

Hello johanfs, Thank you for your comment. Upon investigation of your order I have found the following which was not mentioned. 1) Your order placed on the 10th of may for 3 items. There was no Q & A pre-ordering regarding availability of stock which we encourage users to do. 2) Payment was received on the 16th of May and your order commenced processing. 3) 2 of the 3 items ordered arrived with us on the 24th and 29th of May Respectively and were available for collection. The last remaining item was under severe constraint from manufacturer and was only able for supply from the end of August. Please note this was a global problem relating to the item. Please note we may find that it is no fault on our side when the factors responsible for a delay are beyond our control. It is unfortunately not fair for us to take blame when a supplier is overdue, a problem with the production line experienced by manufacturer or when goods are delayed at customs. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused. We have also noted you have had 2 prior transactions with us which were delivered as quoted yet we've not received any feedback from you. Kind Regards Warren Preston Customer Service Manager |

Utterly Disgusted:
"We have also noted you have had 2 prior transactions with us which were delivered as quoted yet we've not received any feedback from you" The only notification I received was the one on 27 September 2011 which stated the order (of 3 items) is ready for pickup. Nada, nothing, zilch about the the first 2 items which were allegedly ready for pickup earlier as alluded to by Warren Preston. " There was no Q & A pre-ordering" + " it is no fault on our side" proves my prediction!! |
