Ordered & paid for a book from the online store on 29 Nov as a Xmas gift! Clearly saw the delivery time is 5-9 working days. It didn't bother me because I only needed the book shortly before Christmas. I also opted for the "Collect at Store" option because I live close to Woodlands. After about 7 days I decided to ask via the online contact page what the status of my order is & until today never got a reply. I phoned a few days later to find out what the delay is & the call centre agent promised me that they are receiving stock on Friday 9 Dec & they will ship to Woodlands immediately & I can collect on Monday. I sent my wife on Monday afternoon to collect but the staff at the Woodlands store were extremely rude to her for pitching up without them phoning us to collect. Book was not there as promised! Phoned to find out what is wrong & the agent was very sorry for the delay but promised delivery of the book on Thursday 15 Dec. Needless to say. No Book! Phoned again today & the agent "promises" that I will have the book by Thursday or Friday! Leaving for holiday on Thursday with no gift! Very disappointed! And not once have I received a call telling me it will be delayed! |
