Exemplary Service, eventually. |

Last week we decided to enrol Exactmobile's Bulk SMs service to help out SAPS in contacting all the people still unaware that their firearm licences and/ or Competency certificates were still sitting at their local police stations awaiting collection, tens of thousands if one believes the media. We tried re-activating an old account we'd opened a few years ago, paid for a few thousand initial SMS's, read and signed nearly thirty pages of contractual obligations, -online fortunately- and by last Friday were ready to go. Tried and tried and tried again to send, zilch. This monday tried another few times and still Zilch. Tracked down the CEO's whereabouts and called, got filtered through to Conrad G, explained the problem and shazzam! Within practically minutes we were up and running. Going to support once again the old (boilermakers) saying; "If at first you don't succeed,... use a bigger hammer." This morning also had another call from the E/M people, actually the Operations Director, profuse apologes for the snafu and very technical explanation followed. Good service, excellent staff (when you find the right people). Lesson to be learned here is:,always talk to the right person.
