Cancellation request

I phoned to cancel membership and was asked 20 questions. Is the number on contract / pay as you go etc. what, so you can bill me more?? I as a consumer want to CANCEL membership. Why does the person on the other end engage in an argument with me?? I pay the account and I reserve the right to cancel. If I don't have the phone on me to send a sms to request cancellation, but you still need to be able to assist me. I don't accept that you can only act on sms's sent from the phone on which you are billing me R500 per month!!!! The number being billed is 0834570594
