| We purchased a Jeep from EW Motors in June 2011 and was given a verbal guarantee on the engine as it was newly reconditioned. Wayne assured us that the Jeep could be used for a trip from Gauteng to the Eastern Cape and that he deals with someone that would be able to assist in the Durban area should we have problems whilst travelling through Kwa-Zulu Natal or the Eastern Cape. The Jeep performed well travelling to Msikaba, but started overheating on our return trip on 2 July 2011. We immediately contacted Wayne and explained the situation to him. He said that he could not assist us on that day. With no assistance from Wayne we contacted a friend in Kokstad, who towed the Jeep to his house. We had to get a rental to return to Gauteng. Wayne was not prepaired to cover the collection cost even though a guarantee was given. At our own cost we collected the Jeep with a car trailer the end of July 2011 and delivered it to EW Motors. To this day the Jeep is still with EW Motors and every time we contact Wayne, something else is found to be wrong. We have therefor purchased a Jeep (paid it in full) and in the 6 months of owning it, only had the use of it for 3 weeks. | |||
