I have sent two messages (one on 30/12/2011 and one on 5/1/2012) to Europcar from their website with the problem requesting them to contact me in order that the correct person from their side do this to save me frustrating calls to them to find the responsible person dealing with the relevant complaint. To date I have had no contact from them. My son, who was the driver of the hired vehicle, was in Margate and lost the keys to the vehicle. Europcar refused to tow the vehicle to the branch in the area and forced my son to pay some R2,500 to have the vehicle towed to Durban. They did, however, supply another vehicle for the duration of the contract. I insist on a refund of the difference in the towing fee from Margate to Durban and to the office in Margate. Add a new Europcar Report Inappropriate report?

As per our conversation a short while ago we have escalated the matter to our Regional and Claims managers for investigation. Kindly allow us at least 48 hours to investigate and revert to you. Over the Moon: The manager intervened and arranged for a partial refund of the towing fees.
