| I recently rented a vehicle from Secunda Europcar and presented my Mastercard Debit Card from which the rental and deposit of about R3000 was deducted. Only after the transaction was processed the manager told me that she does not take responsibility for the deposit refund duration as it is a debit card which they do not accept. I phoned today and they said that they cannot give me a time frame for the refund and that I will have to wait and see when the money is paid back into my account. The staff I have dealt with is very friendly but I expect them to take more ownership of the issue since they failed to point out to me that refunds on a debit cards is an issue. | |||
