I recently joined Essentialmed on the 1st of June. Money was paid from my account and I was informed that I would be sent all the details in a welcome pack. On the 7th of June I received no feedback, no communication and no medical aid number etc. I e-mailed the company and they informed me that they sent the 'welcome packs' that day actually (7 June 2011) On the 13th of June I contacted them, asking for my medical aid details, still no 'welcome pack' I informed them that I am very dissapointed with the service. Still no answer... Its the 17th of June, and I am cancelling my membership. I will not trust the health of my family to a company like this. I would rather pay more, receive good service and know that in an emergency, my family will be taken care of. |

Hello HMBLAAUW, Essential Med pride ourselves on being very transparent and upfront in our communications, with all information available in the welcome pack also being available for your perusal on our website before joining. It is unfortunate that you did not receive the welcome pack mailed to your address as per our records.
