I was doing my shopping at Edgars Clearwater Mall on Friday the 3rd february 2012 and was approached by some ladies who started chatting to me randomly. After a while they took off with my hand bag, filled with all my possessions(car keys, ID, purse, etc). I quickly reported it to security and I was told that they will check the footage of the camera. To my dismay, i had to wait for over an hour and still no results. I was later told that the footage does not show anything. I then waited for the head of security who took a long time to respond to such an urgent matter. he then promised to check the footage personally and then give me a call. I have not heard from him or even received an apology, as all this happened inside the store. The head of security never called me. I am truly appalled at the fact that we are no longer safe inside our malls and the people that are supposed to service us do not care about their customers. |
