I went to Edgars Gateway lunch time today to cheer myself up and do some shopping for clothes. Just as I approached the shoe section, a woman ran up to me promoting a Virgin Mobile starter pack which she said was free, and gave it to me by hand and after i agreed to take it, she said she's going to activate it for me but I need to buy atleast R100 airtime in order to qualify for it, I said no, I'm not in need of airtime at this stage, she took the starter pack back and left. As I was browsing the clothing section, atleast 6 other promoters came up to me promoting R500 vouchers from Edgars, and this is pretty annoying as each time one approached me, I kept on saying I'm not interested. I mean I came into the store to distress and do some shopping and if I was interested in anything else, I would go to the appropriate place/store to get it. It felt like I was in some Market Place where everyone was trying to make target and make sales. Come on Edgars, you can do much better than this, these canvassers arent proffesional and not FAIS accredited to be canvassing in such a manner. I ended up buying only one item from the store is it wa pretty frustrating to be chased after by them Add a new Edgars Report Inappropriate report?
