On Wednesday, 9 Nov. 2011, I phoned Early Bird to try and find out what appliances were covered under the policy. After getting the run around, it was determined that no appliances were actually covered (stipulated) under the policy, and yet EB happily deducts R156.93 from my account every month and has been doing so for the past 13 years. I have sent an e-mail on that day, requesting the cancellation of the policy with immediate effect. Needless to say, the debit order still went off for December. I did not request a refund (although I believe I was entitled to do so!), but simply wanted this policy canceled. |
