We have had a contract with Early Bird since 2000 for various appliances, bu have utilised them only rarely. However, service has become increasingly bad of late. I reported my washing machine not working on Saturday, 07/01. I realise it was a weekend and did not expect a response until Monday morning. We only got a reference number on Monday afternoon, with a telephone number to contact, however this number just rang continuously. We finally obtained another number to contact. This number was only answered occasionally. Each time I managed to speak to someone, no-one seemed to know what was happening. I used up the last week of my leave waiting for someone to come and look at the machine, only to be told (once again I phoned) that they would come on Saturday (14-01-2011). Saturday arrived, but Early Bird did not. After repeated phone calls, still no-one knew exactly what was going on. On Monday 16/01 i was called asking if the machine could be collected that day, but since I was back at work, I made arrangements for this Saturday past (21/01). Once again, no-one arrived! I am now sick of this and will be cancelling my contract for all my appliances shortly!
