I applied for Bariatric surgery last year. My motivation went through on the 19th October. I have been contacting and following up with Discovery from 4 weeks after the application date and getting nowhere, different people all the time and no answers. This process I was told by the doctor should take up to 6 weeks. Bariatirc surgery is very important to me for various health reasons and "getting nowhere" has a devastating effect on ones pshych and left me feeling totally negative about Discovery to the point that I was agreeting with all the negative feed back I was hearing, and it is with absolute despair that I phoned once again to Discovery and was again told that they needed extra reports. I insisted I speak to someone in a more senior capacity and was put through to Lolly. Lolly has restored my original belief in Discovery that they are in fact a professional and efficient. Lolly has been very patient, understanding, empathetic, informative, effecient and helpful. She constantly follows up with me and keeps me informed. Lolly is of the high calibre of employee that Discovery can indeed boast about. Thankyou Lolly, keep up the good work. |
