Sick and tired of Discovery

Again I have been bowled over by the lack of customer services received from Discovery. In October last year my daughter had a procedure done, Discovery confirmed a co payment of R1600 which was paid the day my daughter was admitted into hospital. Today I have been informed that the co-payment was increased to R3900 and I have 7 days to pay the hospital the balance of R2300. Discovery did not inform me, they informed the case manager (whoever that is) at the hospital of the increase. I am truly disgusted and am definitely going to be moving from Discovery! By the way Discovery does not give a ****, they say they informed who they needed to and that I was not informed is not their problem.

As discussed telephonically, I can confirm that we have rectified the problem, and have updated the deductible correctly on our side.

I have contacted the Practice, for an amended claims statement, and we will re-assess the claim, once we receive the amended claims statement.

I sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience caused.
