| Discovery will not pay for my wife's chronic medicine, Geodon in full. The medicine cost R1500 and Discovery only pay R440. We cannot afford a co payment of R1060. No generic is available. I phoned Discovery on 5 January 2012 and the consultant told me that her psychiatrist needs to complete the "PMB CDL appeal form" and then Discovery will pay the full amount. Her psychiatrist completed the "PMB CDL appeal form" and wrote a letter to Discovery. It took more than 4 years to found medicine that is working for her. She tried more than 10 different medicines. She cannot use any other medicine. Discovery does not care about the expert opinion of the psychiatrist or the health of the patient. | |||
