| About a month ago I went to Dischem to get medication given to me in the form of a prescription. I was prescribed to get the Evra patch, a form of birth control, which I should have been using for the first time. I was met by a seemingly very unmotivated, gum-chewing shop assistant at the Dischem pharmacy, who ended up giving me two boxes of the Emla patch. I found out about this mistake after I had used the patch for three weeks. My mistake was trusting this person at the pharmacy to be trained and be a great candidate at her job. I did not bother to report this to Dischem managers as I already had lost the slip, and the fact that when you make a complaint you are made to feel like it was your fault as a customer. | |||

Hello WinniethePooh, I have received feedback from Johan Fourie the Dispensary manager who has informed me that he has been in contact with you. Johan informed you that he was unable to trace the script as you never handed in the script that day as you took the script back, also all our scripts are signed off by Pharmacists. Thank you to Dis-Chem for handling my complaint very well. I will assure you, you have not lost a customer in me!! I was never made to feel like it was my fault in way, compared to the message that I have received above, please clarify some facts before mentioning them here. No pharmacist ever asked me to hand in a script. I suggest you go back to clarify facts. Thank you in advance |
