I received a letter from Dialdirect informing me that my monthly car insurance premium will increase by 21%. I was furious and phoned the Policy Services number. Mohamed answered and I vented my anger on him. He was very polite and explained the increase to me but I would still not accept it. I told him that I was going to start shopping around immediately and hardly gave him a chance to talk. When he finally had a chance, he explained that the letter was meant to give me a chance to contact them if I disagreed. He checked my record with them and found that circumstances allowed him to actually reduce my premium. Full marks to Mohamed for handling a frustrated customer in such a professional manner. Dialdirect is about to get my wife's car insurance business as well. Gerrie Lessing |
