I am submitting this on request from a cleaner at work. Her husband D Matthys worked for 19 years at Pinclip Industries in Cape Town and left in October 2008. He received his provident fund but now Labour Department said he will not get any UIF. He has not been working as a permanent employee ever since he left this job in 2008. This may or may not be a complaint, maybe just for them to set the record straight as Mr Matthys might have misunderstood. They told him that when he is on pension then he can draw pension and that the UIF is automatically part of that government pension. Add a new Department Of Labour Report Inappropriate report?
